I know there is about 14 of my friends and me heading up to Memphis for the Conference Tournament. I just wanted to see if there was anyone else thinking about going and if so how you planned on getting there. Besides driving I was thinking if we had enough people we might could charter a bus.
Tacia, me and all my peeps are definitely going to be in Memphis all week for the tournament. Hopefully watching our niners bring home the championship, while getting crazy. Any other members planning on being there for the week??? Just curious.

I really hope to be available for this trip but it’s 50/50 for us right now. As much as I hate their fans, I really want to take in some of Memphis and watch us win the tournament. Might just head up there on a whim and take my chances with accomodations/tickets.
I can only go if we make the final. We spent all our fun money last October on a 2 week trip out west. I WILL be there for a NINER vs anybody final.
I’ve gone with the band for the past three seasons… however, student teaching will prohibit me from attending this year. But you better believe I’ll be giving the kids a worksheet as I make my way to the department office to turn on the game. I will be going to the NCAA’s, though.
I think I’ll go. Any reccomendations on hotels?

Missing conference tournaments is boring. Of course I’m in.
The conference tourney is like my mini-vacation each year. Get away from the wife and kid for 5 days of trying to run with the 20 yr-olds. Wouldn’t miss it for anything.
It’s more than just watching basketball. In years past, we’ve had the opportunity to hang and talk hoops with Nolan Richardson & Tom Crean in the halls between games. Back when DeMarco was playing, Magic Johnson sat in our section next to his mom. Last time we were in Memphis, we ran across Charlie (uh, Spoonhour) at BB Kings.

I’m there. It sounds like Niner Nation will be well represented in Memphis. I know of a bunch of other Niners making the trip as well. There are a good number of us on a US Air flight out of Charlotte @ 8 am that Wednesday morning.
