Cookout used to always be in the hood. It’s kinda not the same thing if it’s in a neighborhood that you don’t have to lock your doors in. S. Tryon? WTH?
Big Double Burger
Corndog
Honey Mustard Wrap
Huge Sweet Tea
It always tastes a little better after you’ve pulled up to the empty 2nd drive-thru lane while there are 3 cars in line in the 1st drive-thru lane.
You stole my line I thought of while reading this, but I’ll use it anyway.
-Drive up to 2nd menu, bypassing the 3 noobs waiting in the other line who clearly don’t know the ways of Cookout yet
-Big Double (w/ Lettuce, Pickle, Mustard, Mayo)
-Corndog
-Fries
-Sweet Tea or Dr. Pepper depending on mood
I used to get the two wraps, but I’ve switched those out for now for the sides listed above. Also was a big fan of the “foot-long hotdog cookout style” for a while.
lol I always end up laughing at the people waiting in that other line too. Especially when I get my food before the person who was ordering when I got there.
Actually, 49or bust first showed me.
Yup Will told me about that too, I get 2 cajun wraps every time now. So much food!
It makes me happy to know I've touched so many lives. :weep:
Cajun Chicken Sandwhich
Corn Dog
Chilli Cheese Fries
Cheerwine
Nothing Like having a little spice with a nice cheerwine, especially when you’ve been drinking ice cold drinks all night.
I want to point out that it was this topic in which this person chose to make their first post. Cookout is magical.
chicken strips tray

and a huge tea or cheerwine or caramel cheesecake milkshake
whoa whoa whoa…bacon wrap? Is that a chicken wrap with bacon?
i personally am not a fan of Cookout, if i am going to eat a burger and fries I am going to five guys. That said, thanks to this thread I am likely going to cookout more often on the weekends.
I got the cajun chicken sandwich, as my sides i got fries and chicken nuggets and a tea. Here is the awesome part, i gave the 3 nuggets and some fries to the kid, HE LOVED IT, so much to the point that i am getting my own fries next time.
My son is not an eater, and anything that will get him to eat earns a lot of points with me, not having to get out of the car with a 2 year old is a plus as well.

Five guys is fine if you don’t mind dropping $9 on a burger and fries.
