CUSA All Time Statistical Leaders

I know this was posted in the post game thread but I thought it deserved it’s own thread and (if there’s not one already) it would be good to have a running thread to archive our guys reaching these milestones.

Congrats to Joseph Uchebo recorded 16 boards vs. UTSA at Halton Arena on 2/25/16 to pass Kenyon Martin as all time CUSA (conference only) rebound king! Awesome to have had him for his last year and he has been a remarkable story to follow and “root for” all season.

I was reviewing the CUSA Media Guide and looking over career statistical leaders. Charlotte only dots the pages in a few places. Mostly Demon, Jobey and Plavich in regards to 3 pt shooting. Glad to see we still have a couple representatives from the “glory days” of CUSA 1.0. But I was surprised to see that the 2014-2015 team was #1 in scoring (Conference games only). I didn’t go back and look in detail but that can’t be correct, right? Maybe they mean 2004-2005? Something doesn’t seem correct about that. Here is the section:

Note that last season was the first to play 18 games. Marshall’s team this season is going to rewrite the book.

Also of note, our offense last year was very, good. Top 70 in the country in Offensive Efficiency (Adjusted for opponents). We’ve already scored 1236 points in conference games this season, 92 short of what we scored last year. Marshall already has scored 1380 points, 62 points more than we had last season.
