If you take the average number of points scored under Mullins and the average number of points scored under Mullen, including those negative numbers from pick 6s, the average is close to 49 points per game.

Just for clarity, Jeff Mullins was the head basketball coach before Bobby Lutz and Jeff Mullen was our atrocious offensive coordinator for football.

Something else, just in case someone actually does not know… Jeff Mullins was once both AD and MBB coach at the same time, but a new state law (implemented because of issues at NC State) stipulated that a coach could not also be AD.
This was back when a coach at UNC-CHEAT was afraid to play us in basketball. (the preceding sentence was included for Ben H’s benefit)
