Man, if we can get the other team to leave the court on defense this guy would be awesome :)) .

Sorry for posting a video of a guy jumping after someone was wondering if he had hops or not.
And we may as well try and see if the other team would leave the court ours did in the second half last night. But hey since you don’t go to the games as far as you know the other team never has anyone on the court.
For a 6’8" guy he isn’t getting the ball very far above the rim. Hopefully he can contribute more than Ilya has this season.

It was a joke dude. Not a slight at you. Sorry your feelings were hurt. Nothing personal.

You are right. Hopefully he practices his jumping ability to be like Braswell and get really high above the rim.

? Let’s hope his hops are better than Bras’s. From that video, they aren’t much better.
I’m confused. It sure didn’t look that bad to me. He has reallllllllly long arms. Sign him up
It’s all about reducing risk. We needed at least 3 of our freshmen to produce all season to be competitive this year and only 1 did, so we stink. As it stands today, next year we will need at least three out of KJ/Thorne/Clayton/Clark/Illja to produce (and be healthy) for us to be a decent team. Anyone taking bets on whether that will happen? If this guy is more ready than any of those five to contribute then sign him up.
Yes, a solid shooter would be nice, but they are in high demand and we stink as a basketball program right now. Never pass up the chance to make the team better. Our backcourt is more proven than then frontcourt going into next year.
With the news that Major was at the JUCO National Championship event, one has to believe he was at least checking out Bennett, whose team played today. He had 5 pts and 5 rebs in an 81-69 loss.
We’ve yet to see another JUCO name outside of Bennett to this point.
His team plays tomorrow at 3pm.
#55 overall in Rivals JUCO top 150 rankings

My head will explode if we sign another front court player without addressing the glaring weakness of shooting. No matter how many solid front court players if we still can’t hit wide open shots we will continue to stink.

Your “check sarcasm meter light” is on and needs maintenance

If they are interested in him to replace any front court player leaving then fine. I just don’t want to add one to what we have while we still cant hit an open shot.
Maybe multiple JUCO’s since Briscoe is gone.
Some stiff competition for Bennett. Sounds like we’re in the running.
