clt says the release of this game was reflected in productivity today
I haven’t messed much with recruiting because I simulate it, but I read that it’s even harder to retain players due to “dealbreakers” changing each season for players.
My method for “good” recruits is simming recruiting and bumping up XP boosts. Less work and easier to win. You will get better recruits as you continue winning. By season 4 (basing the timeline off of CFB25), you will then be a powerhouse that can manually recruit with the big dawgs.
Downloaded a preview last night (through EAPlay) and played to games. Loved last years game and it was VERY complicated to me since I do not play Madden but I eventually figured it out and this year the gameplay is similar with even more options.
I started with Charlotte at home vs FAU and after being down 21-7 (defense is still hard to get right), I came back to take them to OT where I lost in the 3rd or 4th round on a failed 2pt. conversion. Super fun game that was competitive and back and forth. Stadium renders and overall presentation are upgraded and crisp too.
Second game I played as VT at home (had to experience that intro) and lost by a TD after another tight game. The playbooks are very diverse so going from two different teams, was a different experience and showed how challenging the game is.
As for recruiting, I found some good YouTube guys I watched last year that really explained strategies that worked and ultimately deleted my first dynasty and started over because I was having such a hard time. I eventually got Charlotte to a 4-star program and lost a National Championship before leaving, but it was cool to see the program continue to recruit and perform at a high level the next few seasons.
After game one of my Charlotte Dynasty, 1-0 and the entire team is threatening to leave due to brand recognition.
Transfer “chaos” is too aggressively (maybe?) implemented.

What level are you playing on? And how long are your quarters?
I am on Varsity and find the game challenging. I beat App, but have not been able to stack points like that yet on anytime other than the FCS squad in week 3.
Also, I am playing 6:00 quarters with accelerated play clock.
