Joe Franco was the student body president. Not anymore. The SB President gets a nonvoting seat on the Board. Donāt email Joe. He wants football, too. Heās a buddy of mine, but has nothing to do with the trustees anymore, beyond knowing them.

Metro, I realize this may be a typo, but just in case, it should be their. You will probably be taken a little more seriously if you make sure you have no grammatical mistakes, especially since you have a degree from the school.
I would proof read that letter a few times.
