ESPN's bottom ten teams for this week...

ESPN.com’s Bottom 10 Week 13
Rank Team Rec. Comment

1 Savannah State 0-26 By this time next week, Tigers may have made history. Last two shots come Friday (at Bethune-Cookman) and Monday (vs. FAMU).

2 Longwood 1-23 Lancers get “bump” after cohorts UMES and Jax State both won this week. Fun acronym week for Lancers: at Bottom 10er VMI and then host UMKC and TAMU-CC.

3 Campbell 2-20 Almost stunned A-Sun leader Gardner-Webb, but now an almost-impossible 6½ games out of second-to-last.

4 Princeton 10-9 Tigers may have had worst five-day Ivy stretch ever, losing at Dartmouth and Harvard before blowing 18-point lead in final 7:35 at archrival Penn. Preseason favorites now in dead last.

5 Southern Miss 10-12 We like Larry Eustachy and think he will succeed at So. Miss, but being a 1-point W over Tulane away from winless in C-USA is unacceptable.

6 Florida Intl 8-14 Have yet to win a Sun Belt conference game in fewer than 5 OTs.

7 East Tenn. St. 6-16 Last place overall in the SoCon? Waterbug PG Tim Smith needs some help.

8 St. Bonaventure 1-20 The curious (and/or gluttons for punishment) can catch the Bonnies on Full Court on 2/19.

9 Providence 10-13 Less for the 0-9 Big East record than the apparent inability to win a close game. Losing Brewington latest blow, but league losses by 9, 5, 4, 5, 3, 4, 8 and 2 imply Friars can’t close deals.

10 North Carolina 19-3 Paper tiger slot goes to Heels, who once again failed on the road in a big spot. Beating UConn this weekend with Rashad Anderson ailing probably won’t answer that question.
