So sad. Perry was with the band all the times I saw them in the '90s and '00s. And he was back with them for their 2024 album, which turned out to be one of the very best in the bands legendary run. They are still making amazing music even in their 60s.

anyone who loves guitar should give this 1977 New Years celebration at least the first 10 minutes listen to hear what a 20year old super genius superstar superhero Edward Van Halen already sounded like. And the band was so tight! Eruption Guitar solo with blazing finger gymnastics and Hendrix feedback starts about 1hr 2 minutes in. This must be the original British Amp cranked
