Noting new here, but a great 13 minute high quality live show of the Mighty Eddie Van Halen band at their peak.
Say it ainât so! I saw him with Jan Hammer on July 4th, 1976. He was at Groves Stadium in Winston-Salem opening for Aerosmith.
What a great guitarist. He is irreplaceable. RIP Jeff you did good.
Really sad to read about Beck. First of the Yardbirds guitar triumvirate to pass away. Really loved his work in the Jeff Beck Group, the collaborations - Beck, Bogert & Appice and with Jan Hammer - as well as his solo work, most notably the Blow by Blow album. Thirty+ years later still had it on his rendition of Stevie Wonderâs âCause Weâve Ended As Loversâ:
Omg Jeff Beck is dead!!!;(
Love me some Tal breast
I meant TAL bass! Jeff Beck RIP

In my mind we can debate if Hendrix was better than Beck before we can compare Beck to Clapton! Beck obviously superior to slow hand! How is that for a nickname? What guitarist wants to be called OLD SLOWHAND? Old broken fingers! Old limp wrists! Old dirty bastard

Beck with Vinnie Colaiuta and Tal Wilkenfield is probably one of the best bass and drum duoâs ever. What a great group they were. The live at Ronnie Scottâs is a must listen. We are losing our heroes.
