Favorite Niners of all time by position

I posted this sometime at the end of last year or at the beginning of the summer, but we have had tons of new users register since then, so I figured it makes for a fun thread and would post it again.
So here is my list:

C - Charles Hayward …could have been the greatest Niner

PF - Johnathan “what-the-hell-is-that-on-the-back-of-your-neck” Neely
C - Wade “Thunder from Down Under” Helliwell
6th man - Malik El-Tamer (Anybody remember him???..without cheating)

I love that favorite list. Talking about playing with all heart. Honorable mention for the all heart team are Bobby Kummer and Galen Young. Who was it Galen got the 5 second call against in the Carolina game, Ed Cota?

I’m a little surprised no one has mentioned Chad Kinch, who also helped lead us to the FINAL 4. Of course, I also realize many of you were not even around back then, which also explains Cornbread’s lack of domination in this “scientific poll”. B) Kinch made what could be the most memorable play of all time by a Niner (this excludes that nightmarish basket made by Marquette’s James Whitehead). Kinch drove the baseline & then litterally jumped over Glenn Hubbard to put the ball in the basket in our Regional Championship game & sealed our win against Michigan to send us to the Final 4, keeping the glass slipper on Cinderalla’s foot for another week.

i did. i named this thread your FAVORITE niners by position, not the best

Kenkay was fun to root for. he was as big around as a toothpick but played his ass off against much bigger guys

My favorites since I’ve been following Niner b-ball (late 90’s)

Let’s not forget about PG Demon Brown. starter all 4 years and really up there in 3 point statistics.
