Decent crowd for a Sunday afternoon with students on spring break.
Hate the schedule of the bonus games. We have played one game in two weeks and then play three in a week. We are struggling for a good tempo which is tough with this schedule.

Oh wellâŚwe are in a dog fight with FIU for the all important 4th place in CUSA. Two games left and we are dead even with FIU. There is a very good chance that we see FIU again in the CUSA tournament. We picked a bad day to have a really bad game.
what happens if us and fiu lose out? who finishes in 4th? also, this game stunk but our defense and energy to start the game was great but i think frustration set in in the second half bc they hit some tough shots and we couldnt hit anything. letâs keep it together. it was a bad day. nothing sanchez could have done.
FIUâs first shot hit the rim and went in. Pretty much sums up the way things went. Pretty much 90% of the lucky bounces went their way. At least now there is no chance we have to beat them 3 times.
Considering what a win today would have meant to this team, program and fan base, this was SUPREMELY DISAPPOINTING.

Still we could finish in fourth. we presently are tied with the FiU. It depends on how we do against the other teams. We have A win against Western Kentucky and FiU has a loss Against North Texas. The next game for both of us is critical

We both play at LT, but they get WK at home while we get NT. Slight schedule advantage to them. The question is, who wins tie breaker between us ?
Yes it is. Too bad we have to play the best team in the conference next.
Turd of a game. FIU got every bounce but as they say the person who complains about how the ball bounces is usually the one that dropped the ball.
The next tie-breaker would be best victory, weâve both beat WKU but they lost to NT. If we beat NT Wednesday weâre still in business. That will be a tall task though.
NT won the regular season today. Maybe theyâll rest their starters Wednesday. As if. Monkeys will fly outa my ass.
Terrible second half. We couldnât buy a basket and they couldnât miss. Hopefully we can get a W Wednesday but today was disappointing.
No way UNT rests anybody. Every game is still important for them when it comes to NCAA/NIT seeding.
Tough loss today, but here is a feel good story. In the pregame hospitality Coach Sanchez told us that after we beat WKU on the road the locker room was wildâscreaming, fun, water being tossed on peopleâbut Coach Dink was sitting quietly off to the side. Sanchez assumed he didnât want to get his suit wet, and moved over and asked him how he was doing. Dink said the last time the Niners won in this building he was a Senior, and Henry Williams was a freshman. He was just thinking about the importance of this win to our program.
Letâs keep in mind that we were picked 12th in the preseason and sit in 4th. We have only lost twice in Halton this year. We have the soon to be named Conference Freshman of the Year on our team. We have two studs coming in next year (so far). We are playing for important things in February/March for the first time in more than a decade, and it is only going to get better.
