Hopefully they know there's no wristband required for the All-You-Can-Free-Gym
Yes it was sad to lose in front of such crappy attendance they had. The rice game attendance was also pathetic and we lost in front of their crappy attendance. >:D

Unfortunately Iām sure Judy has those as examples for why we shouldnāt expand anytime soon.
Those are some really strong incentives. Iād watch this closely. FIU knows what it is up against in terms of drawing fan interest in their market. I also wonder how many kids will show up for the fire stick and tablet and leave.
I really like the food promotion. Iād like to think we could try something like that. I wonder how interested theyād be.

I was also wondering about the same thingā¦once the students get in and get credit for going to the game, what makes them stay for the entire (majority) of the game? I thought of an idea from back in the day when I had a 3+ hour class at CLT. Just like football, students would make it to class, sign the attendance sheet and half way through the 3+ hour class during our break, a ton of students would leave. So the professor started taking attendance in the beginning of class and at the end before students left to prevent ppl from leaving during the midway break. Maybe something similar to be implemented for these FIU promotions? Or change the guidelines likeā¦if you attend all games but dont stay for the entirety of them, then you get the firestick. If you attend all home game and stay till then end, you will receive a tablet. Something like that. To me, attending the game is great, but staying the majority of the game is equally as important and the incentives could help that out.

FIU attendance is so bad that maybe getting students to show up and stay for a half, and then leave, is progress. Maybe they are hoping that if they show up they will actually get interested. Either way this is a great promotion because the prizes are significant. I actually think the food is the best part because it is an instant reward.

I think the attendance at Rice was worse than FIU. Although there was some flooding around the Houston area at that time so that mightāve caused it. Either way itāll be interesting to see how this goes for FIU. For a second I though it was a promotion we were doing, then I remembered we donāt do promotions because why encourage anyone to come to a game lol
We should do some kind of promotion targeted especially for freshmen. Get them hooked early. MTSU recognized their freshmen by letting them run across the field during halftime when they played us last year.
Speaking of MTSU, we need to ensure that game is sold out to give our team the best chance at redemption after last yearās beatdown with them running up the score.
We could give ours sticks and let them chase Dubois like a pinata. >:D
Upvote that! Iāll earmark this yearās donation for the sticks.
Based on his previous exploits on the gridiron, he wonāt get very far before they catch up to him.
