Future Football Schedules
Didnt know the VA Tech game was cancelled…what happened with that?
They set it up with us as an FCS program, didn’t want to restructure once we became FBS.

Tennessee and App play in 2016

The Vols have 1 open date in 2017 and then they play West Virginia at BoA in 2018.

Hate to be a negative nancy but I’m not going to get excited about any P5 school on the schedule until I actually see it, there have been a lot of “we are playing team X” over the years for the game to not actually be there once the schedule comes out…

clt says alabama, Oregon and Norte dame at the rich in 2018. Start the rumor.

UMass in 18 and 19

Well, UMass has the schedule room. Wonder if we’ll get any with Army too.

Good find. Original post has been updated.

Not official, but inching that way - FBSschedules.com is now listing us as playing Kentucky next year, with a date TBD. Its at the bottom of the schedule not in the week-by-week portion…

@davidscott14: .@Charlotte49ers will play at Kentucky in football in 2015 (Nov. 21). Also have h/h with UMass in 2018, '19.

Nothing like using a 12 year old UK logo on the official press release. A 5 second Google search led me to this:

It’s not that hard sports information department. It’s not that hard.

LOL

I like the scheduling philosophy for us, H&H with the SBC amd AAC, money game at SEC Kentucky, and game versus FCS Presbyterian at home. I hope this is the norm for the first few years at least.

I like it too, and I personally think it’s the best path we can take.

Why is the date subject to change ?

Please note that all dates are subject to change. Game times are yet to be determined.

Because all game contracts have by-out clauses.

“BY-out” clause? Is that the same as a “BUY-out” clause?

Rather than busting others for a typo, thought answering a reasonable question might keep this on track

While a school can back out of a game as mentioned, the real reason is that games aren’t necessarily played on Saturdays. You may have noticed CUSA teams playing on “off nights”. As we all know, its all about the benjamin’s

Typo? Is that what it was? Crap, I make those all the time myself, and I wasn’t exactly “busting” anyone as you say.

BTW… Thanks for the verification that not all games are played on Saturdays and thanks for keeping this thread on track. Perhaps you should post more than 30 times. Yes, it is all about the Benjamin’s. If we ever have a week night televised game, my guess is that it will be one game we will not have to worry about students not showing up.

I look forward to our CUSA/FBS schedules. I was never overly excited about the possibility of being stuck in FCS.
