The schedule is one thing our AD has gotten right. Thereās the potential for some magical moments at home in upcoming years, weāve got to get better though to have a chance to capitalize.

We should have scheduled Davidson.
See that the Pioneer fav Cats lost yesterday to future C-USA member Jax State 35-17.
Jax St would probably be a slight favorite over W&M on a neutral field.
FWIW, Athlon and CBS had W&M in their respective preseason FCS top 25 polls, so some thought Tribe capable of making some noise this season.
As far as Jax State, off to a good start (2-0) under new coach Rich Rodriguez.
Sounds like we should play them. Probably wouldnāt be the complete destruction that I thought it would be.

From what I heard we tried to schedule Davidson in football in our first few seasons and they werenāt interested in playing us.

They probably should have jumped on the opportunity to get us in year 1 or 2!
Cats were pretty bad in 2013 (0-11) and 2014 (1-11). Anyway, different AD and coach now, so who knows. Perhaps theyāll schedule us to open their new football stadium if we continue our current trajectory!

Not bad. Once we have our series with App going we will have two massive in state games every year.
Also cool to be hosting a service academy.

These schedules are wildly difforent than any schedule weāve had since starting football. If we can produce a winner we can build a fanbase fast.
