We’re in the Atlantic 10; they’re no games of interest.

If we can finish this season above .500 in the Atlantic 10, like 10-6 or 9-7 I’ll be happy given how bad we’ve been. 10-6 will probably be good enough for 4th place give the perpetual inconsistencies of the top teams in the conference.

Not much of a basketball fan period are you? Play the cards you are dealt for now.

I realy can’t believe Xavier killed GW like that. There is no rhyme or reason to this conference.

Every night it’s something different. Jimmy, how’s the baby watch going?

Duquesne, 6-4, 10-11
Dayton, 6-5, 16-8
Fordham, 6-5, 13-10
Saint Louis, 5-5, 15-9

I’ve got to think that Xavier may have positioned itself to be on the right side of the bubble for an at-large bid with the win. They were 17-7 with a sub-40 RPI before the game with GW and they’ve had some decent (not great) quality wins.

Of course, you know what that means in the A-10. Expect Xavier to go on a long losing streak starting now.

anytime now, hopefully he will get here soon.

That GW lose was at home too, crazy.

i love JJ in the lineup! he is the kind of player we needed. he injects the squad with athleticism and energy that we are most definitely were lacking most of the time. shot really does suck but he is ALWAYS playing his balls off for the team.

GW had a 24-game win streak going in the Smith Center. The Colonials took their first home loss since falling to Saint Joseph’s on March 1, 2005. Their home winning streak was the fifth longest in the country.

Finally!!! Dayton wins on the road for the first time this season!

BTW, what does Ninerteach teach? Sure isn’t English!

X lead 43-40 at the half, then just smoked GW in the last 20 minutes. Looks like the Musketeers are starting to live up to all the preseason hype. With an RPI of 35 (as of 2/11), certainly positioning themselves for an at-large if they don’t win in the tourney in A.C.
