We didn’t play as well as we could have, but somehow we came up with the win… and our boys deserve it!
Clutch free throws and smart move to drive instead of force it to Lee. Surprised the refs blew the whistle in that situation but nice job by Gerrity to ice it. It’s been a while since we’ve had a PG that has zero hesitation to go to the goal in a situation like that.

I read in one article that the plan was to get it to Lee, but Gerrity showed a cool head in the final 8 seconds when he saw Lee covered and an open lane. And, Gerrity likes to drive on the right side. He drove on the left for the final play. Gerrity was awesome and this was a great TEAM effort by the Niners to pull it out when they couldn’t get over the hump the entire second half. I love it!!

Agreed. It’s music to my ears. In the observer interview, he said the play was drawn up for him to give it to Lee or drive. He said they were all over Lee and so he took it in. LOVE that.
