Grass Roots Campaign

I’d like to start a discussion regarding various grass roots methods those on campus could use to get the Athletic Dept./Administration’s attention. Obviously, it would have to be campus dwellers who are brave enough to orchestrate the ideas.

What do you guys think? What about creating signs (nothing fancy, spraypaint, etc) with slogans to hang up at the entrances or elsewhere on campus?

Which message would be of most importance? Lack of football? Mediocrity? School spirit? Discuss!

I feel the pain, but its obvious that the administration has NO desire to meet with what most of us thing is good for the school.

Instead we must bow down to the northeast, toward the sky blue ram, 5 times a day, and then play with our giant train set.

I am on. We like to annoy the ad

It’s important to not forget that this STILL is college. Mainly, students have the right to express their opinons and I for one think you should. I don’t think we need to pull a Kent State type protest, but make your voice heard. Man up students!

I’ve been down for this since the beginning. I’m all about activism seeing as how the man is trying to brush us off, but it seems that CFI, which is a grass roots movement itself, has decided to work within the system, atleatst til it looks like that is completely hopeless.

I’d love to have some kind of peaceful protest, myself, and as long as I have 1 person who will stick with me then I’d be willing to do whatever I can.

I may pray at the porcelain alter again but you’ll never see me do that.

Wait, you’re not getting my train set!

For those of you that are students, you should look into joining the Sports Marketing Association. I enjoyed my 2 years in the group, and felt that we began to get a few things accomplished. Just contact John George in the ticket office if you are interested!
