Next year and in years to come, one of our home b-ball games should be a GREENOUT. Preferably a televised one. Students/fans sitting close to the court should be encouraged to wear green of course, but they should also be encouraged to come dressed as their favorite character who is green. It will be like we have green “celebrities” at the game. Here are a few that come to mind: the Hulk, Kermit, Green Lantern, wicked witch of the west, Gumby (dammit!), Green Goblin, etc. Can y’all think of more? Ok AD, LET’S DO IT!

YES!! It would be original and unique to US and an AWESOME promotion MADE FOR TV. (Are you listening current students and AD?) JUST DO IT!! The TV attention would be priceless and it would certainly make Sports Center in some capacity. Just tip off ESPN and enjoy the ride and attention we’d get. It could become a traditional (of which we have few) and annual thing that we could do at a selected football game too. This is how unique sports traditions are born and it would be OURS. Hopefully we’d win the games as well.
