Have any of you ever seen those pictures of the basketball courts for crapel hill, nc state, and duke framed at stores like black lion? I’ve even seen one for ecu, which is a crime! Does anyone know if they have one for Halton? I’ve never seen one but it would be a great pick up for any guys man cave!

I blew up a picture I took back when we hosted Indiana, and framed it. I guess that is the best we can do.

Heh heh. Actually, there are some pretty cool vendors in there with some really neat sports-related stuff. Heck, I’ve seen some Niners stuff in there. That doesn’t mean I frequent the joint, though.
man black lion is one of the best stores! They have a sports memorabillia section. They also have some classic man type paintings (dogs playing pool). Some other vendors they have sell autographed sports items, sports cards, and framed pictures of arenas and old players. You should check it out.
Is that where you got the Christmas ornament for your avatar dvsws?
Those ornaments are difficult to come by. I have two in my “49er stuff” collection.

I’ve been looking for that ornament for years. I saw it in a store in South Park while I was in school (late 90’s), but haven’t seen it anywhere since. I saw it on ebay around Christmas, but got outbid.
There is a guy at Stumptown Festival in Matthews every fall that has som 49er stuff. My parents gave me a business card holder and ornament the year I greaduated. They also found an ornament in Virginia that was handmade with the UNCC crown on it.
Check with Replacements Ltd in Greensboro. They get ornaments along with all the gazillions of pieces of china and crystal they buy and sell.
You’ll see a bunch of stuff like that in malls all over Charlotte once we start up the football program. Guaranteed.

If I could go to a game I knew would be sold out Id go take a panoramic picture that would be A1 quality. I didn’t think about it for Davidson this year. No point in taking a picture of a half full arena though.
No, i found that pic on ebay a couple of months ago. I saved it to show someone here at work. By the time i got back to get it, it was gone. I did however see this same ornament at the metrolina christmas show in charlotte this past Dec. Believe me when i say, the wife drug me to it!
I would LOVE for a framed photo of Halton Arena. I have a picture of the Panthers staduim and a picture of Turner Field hanging up in my office that I got at a sports store in Winston-Salem.
This was mentioned a few years back when the Cincy/Mempiss games were still going on. I would love to have one- I have the “Izzone” and Spartan Stadium in our office at home- it needs some Halton!
Could anyone coordinate this for a “big game” next season?
Hmmm, 2 thoughts come to mind, either borrowing a really nice camera from someone and snapping one next season, or hiring a photographer to take the pic and do the behind the scenes work. I wonder how much that would cost. I’m going to ask the vendor who carries this pictures at black lion who takes them, or who supplies him. Just out of curiosity of course.

Most, if not all, of the shots at games, etc. are taken by Freeze Frame Photography (I think that’s the name of it) and I believe the photographer’s name is Sam maybe? HP, you might know better…
I wonder how much it would cost to get him to halton for our biggest home game next year? If he would be down for coming to take an arena photo for us would people be willing to split the bill?

Not sure if it was meant in sarcasm or not, but it seems as if HP’s signature has a half court picture of Halton.
