curtis wither’s told a reporter after the game on wednesday that he is putting his white headband bak on from last year and the curtis withers of last season is coming back. He explained that he understands that he is not playing up to potential this season so far. Dispite 14pts and 8 rebounds a game, he said himself he is playing soft. Do you think we will see a different curtis saturday at marquette? I hope so!!! This is a must win!!!
We can only hope. If he does have the power to flip the switch like that, now is the time.
On another note, I like that Mason kid on Marquette’s team…I hope Eddie gets the assignment.
I can’t believe that Withers can just turn it on.
But if he can do it now!
I really thought we’d see a very different Withers this season, considering all the hype he got from playing with the USA (worlds?/juniors?) basketball team.
Guess I was expecting greater output each game. Of course, if you move Iti out of the paint more often, maybe Withers wouldn’t be trippin’ over him, too?!?!
Sweet, it’s about time he brought the headband back.
If he can in fact just “turn it on” then I think even less of him than I currently do because it tells me he’s been half-assing it for the first half of the season. When you’re at this level and your name is being thrown around amongst NBA scouts, the switch should have never been turned off.

After the UNCA game, he told me he planned to bring back the headband at least for one game. Whatever it takes. GO CURT!!!
Maybe it’s the Curtis Withers rope-a-dope?

Curtis has been a disappointment this season and even he would admit it. Maybe people aren't rough enough on him and that's the problem. And I care if he's out there looking lost, giving about 85% and regressing from last season. It's sad if a loop of cotton and elastic is what it takes to get a CUSA 1st Teamer to actually show up.

After looking back on the first half of the season, I think he realizes that he hasn't been playing to his full potential.
Where did you read that mazz?

Neither.
Curtis Withers’ headband

That headband would belong to Curtis Withers, not Curtis Wither’s!

I thought that’s what we were trying to establish
Wither's's headband
I’d love English so much more if this was the proper spelling.
Maybe it’s in the Clus-Kdiid’ book of English.

As long as it’s not Martin Iti’s.Iti needs to go fro again.
If he believes the headband will make him play better… then all the power to him. Also, i don’t want the curtis from last year… i want an improved curt… like you’re supposed to do - get better every year. Hope we can pull it off tomorrow…
Its nice to see him give a damn. At least he recognizes the need to put in a bad effort. Thats something.
