You do know our official color is not âkellyâ green, right?

Got a link? I couldnât find anything on the official website.
Got a link? I couldn't find anything on the official website.
I donât have the link, but I know its on the official school homepage (under pr/marekting, etc.). I know they just call it âPMS349â (I think thats the right #). In any case, there is an example there. Its not as dark as âforest greenâ, but its not as bright as âKelly greenâ either.
So current update:
Iâll need some help with the helmet picture copyrights issues. Its from the Helmet Project website and that website has use info but I loaded the picture and didnât finish the copyrights before uploading. Anyone who wants to try it will have to start from scratch but otherwise it will be removed in a week.
Also, the official hex code of âNinerâ Green needs to be inputed.
The C-Pick image is fine as I took it from the Charlotte 49ers oage.
Who wrote this? They mention the AD, the Chancellor, & the Football Feasibility Comm., but barely CFI, the real reason behind everything? What kind of Godless Commie Crap is this?

All of that came from the part about football that was on the Charlotte 49ers Wiki page (which I replaced with a link to the football page). The history part was included last night by gotLutz. If you want to add stuff feel free but make sure you use references.
Someone want to take a stab at getting the football helmet back on with all the proper permissions listed?
Just a reminder. Anyone with some spare time and initiative should see if we can clean up the Wiki pages with images, info and proper citations.

Shut Yo Mouf - probably doesnât link to unc.edu because we struggle with understanding branding even when it is for baby blue.
This page sums up how I feel about PMS349 and our color problemsâŚ

I kind of wish we were the âDartmouth Greenâ. Or PMS 350. Seems we use it sometimes for merchandise. When you look on the color scale provided on that site, you recognize the more blue influence of 349. The Norm in my avatar looks to be about 364.

Yeah. Weâre supposed to be âforest greenâ as stated in all historical references. 349 is on the lighter/bluer side and may be due to how it âbroadcastsâ on TV, etc. I do NOT want to get too far from âforest greenâ, I will raise holy hell if I have to, to keep us that GREEN!
I wonât be surprised if CFI is mentioned less and less in the future.
