Ian Andersennnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Just got on after the game. Thought for sure he would have his own thread. I don’t care what anyone says. Ian has hit a lot of shots for the Niners, when others havent. He is limited yes but he can shoot and he has been a great contributor in his 4 yrs. Way to step up IA.

We need Ian, Gohkan and Wilderness to go with our starters…to have a shot at making some noise.

Ian is a nice guy but…
I don’t know what to say now.
Somebody help me out.

He had a great game and should celebrate.

i hope ian stays on target for the rest of the year. tonight could have been a huge confidence builder.

Good for him. He doesn’t deserve the bashing he takes on this board. If he is going to get minutes he HAS to hit some shots. Maybe this gives him confidence and he can be an asset off the bench.

SCored 19 pts, has had a tough Sr yr, has always supported his teammates, has hit huge shots for us, 4 yr sr, has hit nearly 200 3s for us.

How about great game and thanks for being a Niner?

How bout using your real name so we can bash you…f’in jerk.

Today is definitely a confidence booster for him. Hopefully he can use this to help Charlotte win our next few games.

Not just Ian… everybody tonight.

The entire team was on.

I think even I could have hit a few shots if I had a jersey on tonight.

Raise your hand/wing if you said “tenacious D” when he stole the ball and then went coast to coast for the layup.

Jesus christ, he is one of the biggest Ian defenders.

Thanks PB. Yeah, I was defending Ian when he was only our #9 all time 3 pt scorer.
But if anyone wants to bash me instead of any of our players I would be delighted.

I am happy for Ian. He’s far from my favorite niner and he’s given me many headaches as a fan. I have been critical of his play in the past.

He played great last night and I am glad he did that. If he can come in and hit 2-3 3’s a game that would be a huge lift. I am not going to say “Ian’s back!” or expect this every game because we haven’t seen that consistantly from Ian this year but hopefully he can get it going.

Lets be honest.

Ian has had a disappointing year. He had a GREAT game and I’m happy he did. I hope he can bring it for the rest of the season.

I don’t agree with bashing him but any player that has a disappointing year is not going to get hugs from fans.

I like to base my opinions on outliers.

That may be, but he’s easily the best poster on this board.

Let’s be honest, he can’t play dead in a western, buy dude seems to love the program.

He hit a huge 3 against Duquense that got us to within 2 with 22.5 seconds- that could have been major but we didn’t close.

He can’t guard the watercooler but has accepted his role on the team- nice to see him have a good game at home toward the end of his career.

yep

I would love to see him play over his head here at the end, we could use a guy who can play 10 min a game and score

I can tell you from experience, at the end of your senior year, you will choke your grandma for the team’s success…the feeling of only having a few more games to play in your career brings out desperate and dark things in an athlete and hopefully thats where his head is right now.
