If the C-USA tourney started tomorrow

Here is what the bracket for the C-USA tournament would look like if it started tomorrow.

Once there, click on the link entitled “Championship Bracket”

I’d take that, Championship game here we come!!!

That would be nice. What would be even nicer is to beat Louisville at their place and have the number one seed (though that bracket looks tough).

GO NINERS!

im not complaining but how does the two seed get the easy bracket and the one seed get the insainly hard one? Kind of makes you want the two seed the way it is now.

Looking at the games that each team has left, Cincy and memphis could easily switch places, Memphis has us, louy and cincy left, cincy doesn’t have that hard of a schedule. Still lots of ball to play.

I’m not sure I wanna play Memphis at Memphis. We never really play well there (ie the drubbing last year and the 3/4 shot in Demarco’s year).

Now here is what the C-USA bracket would look like if it began tomorrow. Charlotte holds the tiebreaker currently over Louisville due to Louisville’s loss to 3rd place Memphis.

That’s projecting ECU to get in, although it doesn’t really matter. However, I don’t want to have to play Memphis in Memphis at all, unless it’s in the title game.

My bad HP. Tulane is #12, not ECU.

Here is the updated C-USA bracket that factors in today’s games.

Here is an updated look at the bracket. Charlotte owns the tiebraeaker with UofL because of head to head versus 3rd place Memphis. Memphis has the tie over DePaul because of a head to head victory, and TCU over UAB for the same reason.

Hope it stays that way…I don’t want to be in the same bracket as Memphis…would rather not see the Tigers till the finals.

So does that mean it would be better to finish 2nd in the conference?

Pork Chop,

Thanks for staying on top of this!

Here is the updated seeding. Now the 1-2 and 3-4 tiebreakers are confusing. Each depends on matchups between who is number one and who is number three. I cannot seed one without the other so I used overall W-L to determine the holders of these tiebreakers. Houston holds the tiebreaker over Memphis because of a head to head victory. Also, Saint Louis is on top of South Florida for the same reason. Tulane is just outside looking in, and USM’s season is over.

I think I may watch the game on Thursday. It may be a little bit important.

The left side of the bracket looks pretty sweet. We need to win on Thursday.

I hadn’t thought of it before, but I’m glad Memphis lost to UL…it drops them to 5/6 in the Conference, and forces them to play an extra game. They would be playing at least their third game when they played us (if they did).

And it makes them more of a darkhorse to win the conference tournament instead of a slight favorite or slight underdog. I was really worried about them winning three games in three days.

I wonder how Taquan Dean would hold up for three games in a row?
