SF, I appreciate you being classy about this....and seriously, don't take it personal. Tonight's just the wrong night. We needed this game a whole lot more than you did, we played like the better team tonight, and it was outright taken from us.
Tomorrow may be a better day to discuss thingsâŚbut tonightâŚwell, it still hurts just a little bitâŚ
Geez, I almost feel bad now for crashing their boards. Notice, almost

I just got banned too without making a single post. Maybe they closed the thread, not sure. I was going to respond because they actually had the audacity to call our players dirty. They said CW throwing the ball off of their player out of bounds was dirty. Not sure if any of you got to see the last rebound with Eddie, but Washington completely pcked Eddie up and tackled him. It should have been a flagrant foul. It was about the dirtiest play I've ever seen, just short of Laettner stepping on the opponents chest.
You were not banned. The ONLY one banned was Pork Chop...and that was just from our main board.

It's all good. They'll be sitting around in some room on Selection Sunday, waiting for Memphis Tigers to get called by Gumbel.....it won't be called out and they will probably get a call from some random guy asking them to play in the NIT. Better them than us. Go Niners!
And they can't even blame Judy Rose this year.
We are charlotte they are memphis
-Our coach cares about the school and the community and will only outburst when he is out raged, your coach is a classless greaseball who will attract any PUNK by whatever means possible.
-We are a less recognized program but everyone who knows anything about college basketball speaks of us with high esteem and the program we are building. Most people see your team as a huge disappointment and in the new conference USA, you are absolutely crazy if you think anyone will want to see you play any conference games, if we fade to obscurity you will fade to nothingness.
-Here at charlotte we have been humble if not pessimistic about our teamâs prospects at times. At memphis your team could be 10-14 and they DESERVE to be in the NCAAs and if the donât they were ROBBED of a national championship. Way to mirror your obnoxious hothead of a coach.
Bottom line Memphis, face facts, under calapariâs coaching philosophy of buyâem, playâem and sellâem to the NBA after one year you may hit the one hit wonder like he did at umass, but more than likely it will be like this year and last year, one great year followed by 2-3 years of obscurity, but no one will care in your new Mid-major.
We are charlotte and they are memphis, and DAMN PROUD OF IT!
It just gets more and more entertaining, the more you read it. Iâm waiting to read how the refs fathered Judyâs child and itâs ok to sleep with your sister.
You gotta love their psychotic fans. Phototiger should be sued, and subsequently neutered so as not to further dilute the gene pool.
Good to also see that Loyal is still manic from her post âthe changeâ hot flashes.
Props to the rational Memphis fans who did show up here. Canât say I blame you for wanting to escape the asylum.
The one thing I have never understood about their fans is the belief that they are a better program on the sole basis that they are on national tv all the time. Doesnât matter if they lose, doesnât matter we have a better record or are higher in the conference standings or are ranked or are called a âlockâ for the NCAA tourney. They are on National TV more.

What it all boils down to is that they are jealous and bitter.
Memphidiots labor under the belief that they are entitled to a certain spot in the grand scheme of college basketball. They think their program is better than it is and more respected than it is. They brag about their national TV games but half of them were do to being in a pre-season tournament. If they take pride in losing on national TV then so be it. Iâm sure more than a few people like watching them lose.
Memphidiots also believe that they are above teams like us because we donât have the history they do. So they had a few good runs in the 80âs, big freakin deal. In their minds that puts them on par with programs like UL, Duke, Tarholes etc. They quite simply are not. If they were theyâd be going to the BE, not languishing in the mid-major new C-USA.
They also resent the fact that a program like ourâs has enjoyed more success in this conference than they have. Theyâll be the first to tell you about their top 10 recruiting classes and players in the NBA, but what has that gotten them? They havenât won a conference title outright and the one that they did win was shared with 4 other teams, including us. Where as we have not had the kinds of recruits they have yet have more post season appearances and more c-usa titles. Despite the fact that they played in the weak a$$ National divsion for years they could only manage 4 or 5 more wins during our conference USA affiliation than we did playing in the American.
Their moronic superiority complex is based on the past, not the present and they will continue to cling to it for the rest of their days. Long after Cal has left for greener pastures and theyâre getting themselves lathered up for Rice and UTEP they will still believe they are what they arenât. An elite program.
How in the hell can anyone who is a sports fan honestly make the following statement:
I am glad it is being sent for review although, it will not help the out come it will maybe help us to have better refs the rest of the way.
I hope, for sake of humanity, that no Memphis fan honestly believes this complaint will âhelp them have better refs the rest of the wayâ.
