A little bird told me that anyone going to the game tomorrow should make sure to get there in time to see the player introductions. The lights will go down and a kick ass video will be shown on the new scoreboard screens as the players are introduced. You won’t want to miss it…

Looking forward to seeing the new board as well. I know the NCAA has a rule against showing replays of referee calls which limits what can be shown but surely big shots and dunks could be shown. I wonder if the game feed will be up there for TV games like the Bobcats do.

i saw the video this morning and it was freaking amazing. if anyone wants to know whats on let me know and i’ll give you a preview.
An article in the UTimes today explained that the screens will be used (by default) to show the player stats (since the side stat areas are now gone, been replaced by about 284 RBC logos) And the stats will come down to show replays during televised games, player intros and other such things.

i work in the fitness center so i have seen the new scoreboard progress in it’s awesomeness…
when i left work monday at 11:00 pm… they had an american flag waving loop playing on it… IT WAS AMAZING! i just kinda stopped and watched for a second… the scoreboard is awesome… especially now that i have had a preview of it in action…

it would be really cool if when the intro video started the whole screen blew up and everyone thought that was the intro video, but instead it was actually a huge expensive failure.
Was in the sac today eating lunch and saw the video. Looked pretty good but I thought there was a few highlights missing that should have been on there.
