He plays at Forrest Hills in Union County, NC. He is a teammate and cousin of Dorenzo Hudson, also someone Charlotte is looking at in the class of 2007.

A classic undersized power forward with very good athleticism who does most of his damage inside. Thompson averaged 15 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks per game.
Thompson and his cousin Dorenzo Hudson have been intimidating teams all season long to the tune of a 15-1 record. Thompson is averaging 17 points and 11 rebounds this year, he said.
He has offers from: East Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, Virginia Tech.
He and Hudson are being recruited by the same schools and their offer lists are identical. That is just what the two want, too.
“It would be nice to play with him,” Thompson said. “We both want to go to the same school if at all possible.”
