Unless he was asked not to return?
Have to start thinking of these guys as contract players. If they are too expensive relative to their production, they might be either asked to take a pay cut or else otherwise encouraged to leave.

Based on what I see in the recruiting thread and the fact Harrell was our guy until he gets hurt it seems Albin prefers a running Qb. That’s not Purdie.

Good chance the wrong people are giving him advice. He’s yet to put it all together, maybe that happens for him next year. It’s likely not going to benefit him to keep changing schools year after year but good luck convincing these kids otherwise. Wake’s starting QB this year wasn’t a great passer…but he was very mobile (9 rushing touchdowns).

College is becoming like NFL, NBA etc., paying for potential not results.

More on the Williams/Washington situation.
Most people are calling them out in the comments. The App State fans response seems to be “Yeah….. well other schools do stuff so who cares.”
