I recently went to the FAU campus and looked at their Stadium. It was larger than ours but looked cheap. When you drive up to our Stadium, with the new addition especially, you can tell the quality of the structure. Sure, we’re slow in our progression but I would rather have what we have than a cheaply built stadium with more seats. Always choose quality!

How many seats will we have when it’s done with this phase? are we over 20K
The initial stages of this project will push capacity over 18,000 while the ultimate objective of Phase I is to accommodate 21,000 fans.

Will lighting be installed on the roof as designed before the first game?
We’ll find out when we see the game times…remember 2013 and 14? 
Good point. Citadel game is 3:30 kick, so there might not be lights yet. October 30 Friday night game will need lights, so installation will likely happen before then.
At least my seats will have shade now!!!

I think they may have already installed temporary lighting on the home side up above the top seating area. I believe I saw lights projecting onto the field from the areas circled in red below.

Shade is great! I hope we avoid noon kickoffs as much as possible. Night/evening games are preferable, 3:30 is great too.
