KJ Sherrill

I found this in the Asheville paper today. It may have already been posted, but I did not see it.

Recent Asheville High graduate Wakefield Ellison scored 17 points Monday night to help the West boys beat the East, 124-92, in the East-West All-Star basketball game at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Ellison was one of eight West players to score in double figures. The East Carolina University signee and his teammates shot 58.3 percent from the field.
Ellison, who was a shooting guard for the first Cougars’ sectional championship team in 25 years (2008) is the only player in Asheville history to score over 2,000 career points.
West Rowan’s K.J. Sherrill led all scorers with 19 points Monday night in Greensboro.
Thanks to a game-high 20 points from Freedom graduate Ali Ford, the West won the girls game, 87-77.
