On a related note, former 49ers coach Amanda Butler’s Florida Gators (18-13) received a first round bye and could line up to face NC State if things hold to plan. A turnaround from 9-22 last season, the Gators have the second highest RPI in the Women’s NIT at #42. Only Gonzaga (#39) is higher.
