if you donate about 5K to the club that may get you down there
I had been told that it was over $10K cumulative lifetime by someone this year to get lower level
So they donāt tell you when your a club member what seats you get with what membership or donation? How would you know how close you are to better seats?
Saturday is my last game as a student. 49erband (a.k.a. Mrs. TF - thanks, Nick) and I are already planning on our move from 131 to 216 next season. Joining the 49er Club as soon as we graduate.
Unfortunately my last student game at Halton Arena was Wednesday night. How priviledged I was to see my classmate and good friend Eddie Basden save the night once again. My job dictates that I work Saturday. I am saddened that I will miss this last opportunity, but Iāll be watching ESPN.com live scoreboard every second.

I heard that you have to donate $10,000 for like 4 years straight and you get rights to 8 tickets/seat(which I believe you have to purchase each years).

However most, if not everyone in the lower level is at the Green Jacket level. You are on the point list as of June 30 and seat location is determined by your rank and the number of tickets you want. Eight season tickets in Priority 1 is allowed for donors giving $5000+ yearly. It is a cumulative point system, there are some who have been contributing some amount for over 30 years and the $$$ add up. There are a few in 124 who were season ticket holders when I began UNCC (1976) who still hold them. My parent contributed $25 yearly for me while I was in college and I've added more each year. The total amount doesn't come close to what some give yearly but the points for continuity help alot.
POINTS for each consecutive year of 49er Club membership
3 POINTS for each $100 donated during the current fiscal year (July 1 - June 30)
2 POINTS for each $100 donated during the donorās membership history
1 POINT for each consecutive year of purchasing Menās Basketball season tickets as a 49er Club member
The following is an example of how the Priority Point System is applied: A 49er Club member has donated $1,000 per year for 8 consecutive years and has purchased Menās Basketball season tickets for 5 consecutive years.
8 consecutive years of membership 4 x 8 = 32 POINTS
$1,000 donated during the current fiscal year 3 x (1000/100) = 30 POINTS
$8,000 donated during the memberās history 2 x (8000/100) = 160 POINTS
5 consecutive years of purchasing season tickets 1 x 5 = 5 POINTS
TOTAL = 227 POINTS
