Leemire Goldwire

What’s the latest on Lee? This article briefly mentioned he’s still working out for the Bobcats?

[QUOTE]Notes

Among the players auditioning Monday was Charlotte 49ers guard Leemire Goldwire. He had a funny line when a television reporter told him he’d at least get a Bobcats T-shirt: “I’m trying to get a jersey.”

I believe that article is from June 4th. The last paragraph notes the upcoming NBA draft on June 26th.

That is about his pre-draft workout in June. He is oversees now as far as I know.

He’s in Germany. I saw some box scores, he was doing alright, nothing amazing. I’ll see if I can find it

Edit- Greece… my bad. I posted a link and still managed to mix up the G countries

Yeah, kinda meh :o

Good 2pt FG % though

Ive talked to Lee a few times in the last few weeks.(over the net) He seems to be enjoying himself over there. His FT & 3 pt % are down but his mid range game has picked up a good bit… He said he has been keeping up with the 9ers & believes we will be ok by conf. play.

Wow, 65.2% from free throw range. That’s quite a drop from what he did here. If I’m not mistakin, I think I remember him going for the record of consecutive free throws, and he was always our guy at the end of games we tried to get to the line.

QFT.

Whoa what’s with his 3 pt %? He’s being given a lot of shots from coaching it seems…

38 consecutive FTs was his record. He was nearly automatic at the line.

It must be the water that messes with his range. Since he’s in Germany ask him to switch to the beer instead.

Maybe he is adjusting to playing for another team on another level in another country? That's my best guess. Anywhere you shoot it, a FT is still just a FT. Maybe it's a frame of mind thing.
