Just saw on FB where one of the Levine scholars wasn’t thrilled with the article. I know he doesn’t speak for all of them, but I just thought it interesting that he didn’t like it.

While the Levine Scholarships are helping Charlotte now, we also have to remember that the NC legislature just got rid of the teaching fellows scholarship. A lot if sharp kids have been getting scholarships at Charlotte via that program for a long time. It’s a shame that program had to go.

The Teaching Fellows was actually dropped ~2 years ago. The HS Class of 2011 was the last class to be eligible. My daughter (Class of '12) just missed out. :-[
