I canât believe you dropped the Kay Scarpetta line. Her first book was decent. Her Jack the Ripper book was awesome. Her next good book will be her third.
I read the Hornetâs Nest and vowed never to read her again, but got caught at the beach with nothing but a copy of âSouthern Crossâ. What a teerrible book by a very mediocre writer.
As for the lack of chicks at Davidson, you are correct there are none, but donât play the âWeâre a small schoolâ line. Elon University is Davidsonâs daddy. Hot chick abound there.

uh, numbnuts, ever hear of patricia cornwall or dean rusk
how about woodrow wilson (attended for 2 years) or william styron (was drafted by the us army before he could complete his degree)
or 23 Rhodes Scholars (how many does your school have? your enrollment is only 20x bigger than ours)
Yes, I have heard of all of those people. The interesting thing about William Styron is that while he was a student at Duke University, his math teacher was none other than UNC Charlotte founder Bonnie Cone!
From the UNCC website:
In two years as a math instructor at Duke University, she managed to impress a youthful William Styron to such a degree that seven years later when the first of the Pulitzer Prize winnerâs novels was published, he remembered her and sent her a copy.
