Colson was an absolute stud. Heās the best PG in our programās history in my opinion. Even better than Wat. Used to love the āColson Iceā signs in Halton back in the day. We could compete with anybody with Colson and DeMarco on the court.
Guys like Colson and Demon Brown exuded swagger. They did not care who you were, they were there to beat you. And maybe after the game, take you out back and beat you.
Hard to know what to do with Heyward and White. Still such a bummer that Heyward didnāt get the chance to realize his potential, but I agree that he had tremendous potential to be great. Probably leave him off even though it feels bad. White was an incredible freshman, but I donāt think he goes in a starting five over a senior Demarco, Jarvis, or Kinch, probably next one up with Basden. I hate to say it, but I was a little surprised he ended up so high in the draft, seemed a first round talent but not lottery to me at the time. But if he stayed another year and improved his ball-handling skills and outside shooting like Johnson and Lang did by their senior year, he moves ahead.
For a lottery pick, White did not play in many more NBA games than I did.
I can usually ignore misspellings but I had to mention this. His name is CHARLES HAYWARD.

But he got paid more than you did
Skimming this quickly, but surprised I did not see Diego mentioned.
Diego wasnāt the greatest, but he was solid, and SOOOOOOO CLUTCH. I think his game elevated to superstar level when it was on the line. Been a while, but thatās how I remember him now.
Colson
Williams
Basden
Demarco
Cornbread
Dink, Jobey, Galen, Withers, White

His balls were the most brass⦠ever
Phil Ward has not been mentioned. He was a four year starter at PG and was clutch at the end of close games. He is certainly among our 20 best of all time although he did not have the benefit of great talent around him.
Go back and look at mine
I still consider Diego the most clutch shooter we have had. Maybe not the best or most athletic or even purest - but the dude had a knack of hitting some of the biggest 3s in biggest games.
I would think that this would be a good place to start with this list.
Some of my favorites not up there are : Colson, Diego, Jobey, Demon, Leemire, Withers, Galen Young, and Rodney White.
DiJuan Harris
Leemire Goldwire
AnāJuan Wilderness
LaMont Mack
Charlie Coley III
Even if not lottery, still higher than Basden, DJ, Lang and Withers draft positions.
Kinch grabbed dollar bills off the top of back board was told by Ben Bassinger (who owns single game reb record). James Worthy also know for that
Wives tale, but who knows
The wives tale you are thinking of involves David Thompson, not Worthy.
