Analyzing sports vs just watching and enjoying the games is similar to reading a sex manual vs. having sex.
I’d say it’s similar to simply watching someone else do it and studying how someone else does it.

A good understanding of the underlying logic analytics has definitely improved my enjoyment of basketball games. I need to spend more time on Bartovik’s site, as I am a KenPom disciple.
