Dunno if they’re doing something special for this, but Parking Services says permits are enforced during spring break. Upper level Cone Deck is visitor parking. https://pats.uncc.edu/
I just confirmed with Parking Services that permits will be enforced in West Deck, so what Athletics is telling people is wrong.
Even during Spring Break? They’re literally subhuman.

Parking just emailed me again and said that you can park in West from noon to 5:30 pm without a permit for this event.

imagine that. operating like a business that likes customers
I loved that he mentioned the App game in both interviews. He is already laying the seeds for something 6 months away. It is very important from an optics standpoint that green outnumbers yellow in the stadium by A LOT that day.
Agree, he know’s the game and how to build up hype. I wouldn’t mind if we make that game a Green/white Out. Just bc I know a lot of Niner fans own black and gold 49er stuff, but for this particular game we need all green or white.

If it’s a noon kickoff, we need to have a white out.
Can you imagine all those black clad appys in our microwave? They are used to Boone weather lol.
It damn well better NOT be a noon kickoff. That would be a crime. You want butts in seats? Set a 7-8pm kickoff and don’t worry about tv.
I’m telling you now that we will sell this game out unless we put up a turd against Fordham. If there’s even just the perception that we have even as little as a 5-10% chance of winning, we will sell 16k tickets to Niner fans. I think we could sell another 10k to App fans if we really wanted to.
I’d really love to see Niner Nation sell out it’s allotment with additional demand. Maybe then we can do some temp seats. Having a crowd of 20k+ for that game should be a given (in a properly run athletic department). I believe Hill knows this and that’s why he is already talking about that game. It can and should be a hot ticket in this town.

imagine that. operating like a business that likes customers
I’ve parked numerous times at various places when classes were not in session and never got a ticket. I think parking services was just giving the official (asshole) line.

The thing to keep in mind is they’re much less labor-dependent now for enforcement. All they have to do is drive through the deck and the license plate reading cameras mounted on their vehicle will automatically issue electronic tickets (or snail mail to the registered address for the vehicle).

Good to know the nazis are becoming more efficient at terrorizing the populace.

I backed in to most bball games this year. Didn’t get a ticket. Not sure if that is relevant to this conversation, but figured I would chime in.
