I got to eat at the pregame meal where all the big doners eat ie, endowment scholarships. It was in the practice facility so I got to see where the team practices, very cool.
We yelled at Cal, his mini-me and Hunt all night long. Alumnus had Hunt frazzled, he kept looking at us. He played like butt in the first half so I give Alumnus credit for keeping it going. I threw a few choice shots at Milt whenever he walked by but never got any reaction. He was probably focused on not dropping his clip board and making sure the bus was warm for him to drive the team to the airport.
One great thing was when they were reviewing the replay after the fraucus at mid court Cal started walking over towards the officials and Bobby went as well. Cal yelled something to Bobby and Bobby basically told him to shut up this was his court. It was HILARIOUS!!
We did get eye balled by Cal one time at the end of the first half. A good 5 second eat you know what and die look from him for me and Alumnus. Made the night extra special.
I was surprised at how little coaching Cal does during the course of the game. He runs the time outs but his greasy twin does most of the working of the sidelines. That changed in the second half. We let the twin have it as well but never got a reaction from him.
Cal is a big time whiner. At one point he was complaining to one of the officials that one the white official was not blowing his whistle on purpose just to screw them over. What a freakin baby.
All in all a great night.
