Music factory/Uptown village

PB needs to abandon his plans for Chapel Hill. They’re going to have 24 hr studios available for about $250 per week in the new Music factory near fourth ward.

Observer business: Uptown’s entertainment extravaganza

Dallas has The West End. Memphis has Beale Street. And now Charlotte has The Uptown Village.

Charlotte nightclub entrepreneur Noah Lazes is transforming 30 acres in the northwest corner of Fourth Ward near Interstate 77 and the Brookshire Freeway into what he believes will be an entertainment destination.

Lazes graduated in the early 90’s. The guy owns/runs clubs all over the country.

I wish they could get some more stuff like that closer to Uptown. But, that looks pretty cool.
