Spirited UNC-Charlotte professor keeps Novello Festival alivehttp://www.minthilltimes.com/2010/09/spirited-unc-charlotte-professor-keeps-novello-festival-alive/
I donât consider UNCC or UNC-Charlotte to be name confusion either. They may not be the official terms, but theyâre not confusing us with Chapel Hill at least. I do agree that North Carolina, Charlotte should be listed as name confusion however.
When is the movement to rename UoC to begin? This needs to start higher than the school admin. The admin needs to understand they have the support of the state government and BOG or they will never act on it.
University of Chapel Hill at Charlotte?

Whats worse, the name or the price? :o
so clt should not have bid $150 for it?
I hear that. When I say âname confusionâ I donât necessarily mean confusion with Chapel Hill, though that is the main definition. My view is that any incorrect form is name confusion because they are clearly confused with what our name actually is.
I do see how these listings can lessen the impact of the message and I feel they should be listed as minor instances, but they are still incorrect and clearly a sign of confusion and deserve mentioning.
When is the movement to rename UoC to begin?I had thought about making a thread with this very topic when the final symbolic approval of football was given, but I guess I thought it would get covered up by celebratory and speculative threads. I was told by several that the time was after football was finished, but I still tried (in vain). But I agreed at heart that the people couldn't focus on two major movements at once.
Now, I wonder if this is in fact the time or not. Do we still need to focus completely on football to make sure things are done with it correctly (like seats rather than bleachers), or can we finally begin really pushing this thing. It does seem like a lot of people have been discussing name change lately, and people are coming back from the off season; maybe now is the time for that thread.

University of Chapel Hill at Charlotte?
This little item has been on this board before. I just sent the seller an e-mail through e-bay. I left out âyo boneheadâ as the preface. Werenât there more of these given out than he says? I may report this a-hole to e-bay and try to get him kicked off there.
From Bob Dylanâs website listing his current tour, wonder if his managers know heâs not playing for the tar holes?
Oct 14, 2010 Charlotte, NC University of North Carolina â Halton Arena

EDIT: Apparently the University is working on it.
clt says good ol roy looks forward to throwing bob dylon out of halton.
If Dylan shows up high, & sees green instead of light blue, he might freak out! :o
(Best Dylan impression) uuuuuUUUOOOOOOuuuuuOOOOOOO Taheels! uuuuuUUUOOOOO so nass ta be hehh tonot!
i plan on being there, as close to the stage as possible with a sign saying " THE UNIVERSITY OF CHARLOTTE THANKS YOU FOR COMING HERE!" or something like that. If I hear anything tarhole related it will completely ruin my whole night.
Great plan. Make sure everyone behind you sees the sign. We should have lots of non Niners there. They need to see the sign too.

clt says to check out the usa today from today.
the back page with a story from every stateâs north carolina story was: The University of North Carolinaâs campus in Charlotte has increased enrollment to over 25,000.
clt asks Phil how that helps us.
