With Sports on the riseā¦outside of a medical school being started, a name change is at the top of my list. I think as our sports get relevant again, a name change is crucial. Yes, our Athletics just go by Charlotte, but there is still massive confusion with our academic name (UNCC and all 20 different variations). I will be one happy Niner when our revenue sports are winning representing the University of Charlotte.
Name (Uncc and variation) is correlated with athletics as much as some ppl dont believe. Yes, the horse is dead and itās beaten, dont careā¦name needs to be changed.
