Looks like it was built in HS shop class by the doofuss son of a tar hole walmart fan.
“So really a lot of it starts off with, ‘Are we available in the time that they’re routing the tour? Can we make a date available for them?’ ” says Donna Julian, TWC Arena’s general manager. “We want to get everything that we can get, and we don’t want to ever lose anything if we can avoid it. But I also have to be realistic and say, if our date’s not available and that’s the only date (the tour) has, we’re probably going to lose the show.”
Adds Dave Olsen, general manager at PNC Arena in Raleigh: “Between hockey and basketball, I’m tied up with over 60 dates, with schedules that don’t come out in a timely fashion. When promoters want to do shows or put (a tentative hold) on a date, they want it today, not three months from now.”
One footnote to all of this, as far as TWC Arena is concerned: The Checkers, a minor-league hockey team, moved from TWC to Bojangles’ Coliseum for the 2015-16 season, opening up about 30 dates. Says Julian: “We did probably have one of our better months of December with events,” including Billy Joel, Amy Schumer, Joel Osteen, a WWE event and the UNC-Georgetown men’s basketball game.[left]

clt says either the observer screwed it up, or the arena staff doesn’t realize that we played there.

Guess where this was taken? Greenville, NC? Wilmington, NC? crapple hole, NC? Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! It was taken at Rite Aid on the corner of Sardis Road North and Monroe Road in CHARLOTTE, NC. I am sooo damn sick of this. >:D
As I was leaving the baseball game at BB&T last night I stopped in the bathroom real quick. While I was doing my business, I overheard the Winthrop radio network (which was playing over the loudspeakers in there) say something to the extent of:
“And that’ll do it from uptown Charlotte where UNCC defeats Winthrop 7-1. Have a good night!”
I wonder why announcers do this. They go through preparation before these games, they definitely look over our Media Guide which is plastered with “CHARLOTTE” and “49ERS” all over the place, yet they can’t help themselves but call us by our slave name.
