No way they pick Bronny James there.
My guess is he doesn’t get picked and signs a two way with LA.
"Bronny James entered the draft in early April and is ranked as the No. 54 prospect in the ESPN 100.
Paul previously said that he will not let Bronny James sign with a team on a two-way deal, and he doubled down on that while speaking to ESPN."
Saw this the other day and it made me laugh. What’s he going to do if he doesn’t get drafted and a 2 way is his only option. He should be thankful for that opportunity if he gets it.
Yep, lining things up for the LBJ Sr. and LBJ Jr. show next season.
LA Lakers have the 55th pick so they may pick him there.
Everything is lining up, like the celestial display this week.
That’s such a Lakers thing to do.
Hire the dude with no coaching experience.
Insanity.
C’mon, that experience coaching his 9-year-old son’s travel team will surely prove invaluable with LBJ & Co.!
WOW!!!
Hurley has a 5 million a year NIL collective that can not come close to competing for championships even with player discounts he has earned. Whenever these numbers and stats come out it makes me even more ready for the break away from the big boys or break away of me not caring.
Yeah once the P4 start paying players on top of NIL it’s going to be hard for even the UConn’s of the world to keep up.
Apparently something else going on with the NBA today besides the Lakers coaching search:
See that one-time Niner recruiting target Jaden Springer of Charlotte (Rocky River HS) is a member of the Celtics. Like PJ Washington, benefitted from a mid-season trade. One and done at Tennessee and then a first round NBA Draft pick in 2021 by the Sixers.
Jesus!!!
Yep, because when you have a monumental career decision to make, head to a Billy Joel concert in NYC!
Pretty sure if Hurley takes the Lakers job that UConn will announce the promotion of Kimani Young to HC in short order. Speculation about the Huskies pursuing the likes of Ed Cooley (Georgetown) or Bruce Pearl (Auburn) seems farfetched. Of course, Hurley staying makes everything moot in college hoops and the doomsayers can breathe a sigh of relief.
