Didn’t realize Millsaps hadn’t already officially retired. Last played in 2022. Amazing some of the athletes produced by LA Tech, with Terry Bradshaw and Karl Malone among the most prominent. Retired Hornet / NBA veteran PJ Walker also an LTU alum.

Not much of an NBA watcher anymore due to Hornets being irrelevant during the Bob Johnson and Michael Jordan+ eras, but still neat to occasionally turn on TV and see a player I first saw in Halton Arena. Today that’s been Anthony Edwards and Steph Curry. And other current pros include Delano Blanton, TJ McConnell and Trey Murphy III.
Not enough to be paid a bazillion dollars. Needs to experience “joy” as well.

And then they will increase the number of games by 20%. 
Pretty sure NBPA would never go for more regular season games. More likely those 8 fewer minutes of court time would just mean more TV ads as with college football.
I don’t hate this.
Could help with the overall player workload issue that plagues the league.
Better than cutting games? I think so.
