Ive gotten so agitated and never ever getting a fair shake with the heels id prefer not to ever play them again. If we do this we need some outside ACC officials
We did once. Lost in OT in the NCAA tourney round of 32 I believe. About 25 years ago.
That wasnt a fair game either.
Played them in the following regular season at dean dome of course and lost again in OT. Acc refs made sure of that. Haywood had a great rebounding game, however.
Brenda was over the back on that put-back.
Is this Bill meant to keep the Wolfpack and Tarholes in the same conference when the ACC implodes?
Damn that is top of the bulletin board shit right there!!
Agree, I remember being drunk and pissed on a Saturday afternoon. My point was it wasnât ACC officialsâŚ.
I couldnât less about soccer as a rule but when the refs fucked us in the Natty I more pissed than almost any other times in my sports watching life.
I was there and I agree on all counts.
The standing ovation they got from niners fans after the loss is one of my top sports memories of all time and I literally donât care about soccer at all.
Rep David Willis on a Raleigh based sports podcast show discussing the bill. Starts at 42min mark. Mostly ACC pro hosts but seem ok with the bill. Possible amendment could include BoA for Niners to count as CLT home game.
We get screwed with Spectrum & maybe BOA counting as home games. Halton & The Rich are home games. A least our schedule improves.
If that happens, we should decline to be a part of it. That would make zero sense.
If itâs us, app, heels and state - might make sense to play annual matches at BOA maybe Fri/sat combo. If everyone isnât panting at boa then we shouldnât either.
CC mentioned Spectrum Center as well. No way, no how should we agree to that. Could you imagine the Heels playing at Holmes and Minges, but NOT Halton?

I love that now after decades they are moving on this, but only after the changes have made it so difficult for us to compete.
Iâll take it. Decades later or not.
It makes sense and should have been in place a long time ago.
This helps the schools in the NC SYSTEM.
Think we discussed it previously, but the bill says your enrollment has to exceed 30,000 as of last fall to be considered a High Enrollment institution.
The odd part is that Charlotte qualifies as an obligated High Enrollment institution rather than an obligee constituent institution like App and ECU. At least for now.
clt says this is confusing. it would require Charlotte, NCSU, and CHeat to play appy and ecu?
we will already play ecu, and playy appy more than enough
