Is that huggins?
Too slim. No veins sticking out on forehead. Mouth not open. Face not red. No liquor in hand.

Yes indeed. I traded a bobble head with Gruehls. I can’t remember if I sent him a Diego or Jobey bobble.

His face is not red enough to be Huggins.

And grueling was a great guy, even if he did pull for the bad guys. May he RIP.

WHAT?

Greuhls passed away several years ago.

Taken too young. He had been battling illness.

The Cincy fan board is named after him:

The Gregory A. Ruehlmann Sr. Memorial Cincinnati Board

I feel lucky to have met and had a couple of beers with him. Funny, very charismatic guy, though he was half again my age back then.

He isn’t the only guy we used to spar with that passed on… Not quite as well known, but “Bearchatter” passed away as well.

Wow I had no idea. I’ve been away from this board for a long time and obviously I missed it. :frowning:

i still have the Cinci hat he gave me. I remember when he was in Charlotte for a game he was shocked that our local paper had no mention of the game.
