Chevee, I got the NFL hat clip and the Niner markers that came with the divot tool work great with it. I havenāt field-tested it on the course yet, but it clung tight to the clip walking around the house.
For a recap, if you buy this divot tool with the three ball markers included at the book store:
The ball markers will work with a hat clip of your favorite NFL or MLB team ordered from Football Fanatics. Go to the Football Fanatics web site and select your favorite NFL or MLB team. Then click the āGolf and Moreā link from the left-hand column and the hat clip is pictured and comes with two ball markers. The hat clip is $9.95 plus $4.99 flat rate shipping.
Football Fanatics also has some Charlotte Items:

This was the most interesting. Those that went to the Hawaii tournament last year could have used it.
I have the alumni association credit card.
Today I got a fleece blanket with a niner embroidered logo on the corner. Very nice, very free
I also have the BofA card. I received the fleece blanket also and was somewhat dissapointed in that the logo was so small. Also, it seems the fleece was substituted because they were out of the chairs.
Does anyone know how much is donated to the Alumni Association for each purchase on the card?

NinerAlumnus might could shed some light on that, but I donāt think itās much. I had the old MBNA UNC Charlotte card until they screwed me on the mail arriving late with my payment. Anyways, I never could get an answer on the percentage donated from the University or MBNA. I switched to a rewards card.

Is it a reasonable card? Annual fees, decent APR? I remember getting something about it a couple of years back, but I was still in school, Iād like to get one now. Any ideas where to look to sign up for one?

ive had it for 16 months or so. First 12 months was 0%, now its 19%??. Decent points system, if you are into miles I would stay with what you have. I never make purchases that I canāt easily pay off anyways, credit cards are simply a middle man for points. I got it for the no interest when i bought my first home, and to do a little something for the alumni assocation.
I want to say its like .1% goes to the alumni association. So for every $100 you spend, 10 cents goes to the school. Its not much but if you have 25k people with the card it adds up.

CMack you can get some info on the card HERE
I have no idea what the APR is because I never carry a balance and donāt need to worry about it. I just like it because it somehow helps the school and since I bank with BofA I can just pay the credit card off via online banking.

Thanks. Thanks to ID too.
I donāt carry a balance either, but I still try to stay away from high rate cards just in case I miss a payment or something. Iāll sign up for one of those.
Go to any other college campus and you will see those same colors for sweatshirts. Itās not ridiculous. They sell so the store carries them. I worked at the University Bookstore at Virginia Tech for a while and they had pink and light blue t-shirts and other items. Get over it - if you donāt like it, donāt buy it. I was by there last weekend and the selection compared to when I was a student (98-02) is much better!

agreed.
My only problem with the bookstore is those sweatshirts probably cost $50 or so, on a college campus that is almost criminal.

Iāll stand by what I said. Ridiculous.
Looking at the Virginia Tech bookstore site, I struggle to find anything other than marroon or orange. Where are the pink and blue t-shirts?
