I saw this on ebay the other day. A bit of history behind this jesrsey, since one of the photos has apparently been removed. This was the jersey style worn by Bill Fosterās teams at UNC Charlotte. This was also the style worn for the NIT and NCAA Final Four seasons.
This was Sheldon āSkipā Shipmanās jersey, worn in the 1975-76 NIT season. Skip was the starting point guard that squad. He is now the pastor at Charlotteās Greenville AME Zion Church.
I see Skip preachinā on TV regularly. He could play some tenacious D.
AMEN, NINERS!!
Okay, so I need a new Ninersā hat. I went to Concord Mills this weekend to Lids, or Hat Shack whatever it is on the back side. There is a green, fitted hat that I like with the exception of the glittery gold outline on the logo. They have carried it for some time. I like the fitted caps and from history, I canāt get white or wool. I just wear my hats too much. So, my wife realized they had two of these green hats that are too glittery where the gold outline was replaced with a subtle bronze sort of color. It looked AWESOME! Only problem is I need a medium and they only had two smalls. The catch is that they guys in the store hadnāt noticed it and they have the same āpart numberā as the glittery ones. Please keep an eye out for these! They said if they ordered them, thereās no guarantee theyād have the bronze outline. Hereās a pic! If you find one please let me know. BTW, the pic is the one with the glittery gold. Thanks yāall!
Also, there is a Kiosk on the back side of the mall in front of Charlotte Rousse by the food court at Concord Mills that sells Charlote slippers, clogs and flip-flops⦠But I still want that hat
And wasnāt someone asking about flags???

āDoes this school not understand that the average student does not want to spend 50 bucks on a hoodie that doesnāt look good? I mean Abercrombie and American Eagle can charge that much because it is a style, these are college kids that just want to support their school. Seems to me if you sold the hoodies for 25 bucks you would have more than twice the amount of people wearing them. That would put more Niner gear on campus, something lacking when I was their.ā

I bought the slippers on the way home from the North Texas game (had to have something good occur on Sunday). They are comfy. Got some for Cameron too, they were at the time buy one, 2nd pair half price then, not sure it that still holds true.
ninerID, you have received 49 demerits for posting the above items.
Did you not view the eBay links? The items are for products featuring UNC-Chapel Hill, not UNC Charlotte/Charlotte 49ers.
Shame, shame!
sorry i was being sarcastic, as you probably know i am strong on the opinion of the need for a name change, it was more a shot at that.
No I have not seen that lids hat, it looks really nice!
In Concord Mills, the Champs(I think it is Champs, it is right next to Bed, Bath & Beyond) has grey UNC Charlotte hoodies. They have UNC Charlotte in big green letters and then the 49er pick logo below. It is pretty heavy with hand pockets on the front. They are $50 a piece or 2 for $60.
ā¦Guy emailed me back and changed one of them. Sad thing is he admitted to living in the U-city area in Charlotte and his wife used to teach at Crap Hole Hillā¦
Champs in Concord Mills still has the 2 hooded sweatshirts for $60, nice and heavy material. They also have beanie knit hats buy one get one free for $15. There are quite a few different options for the hats, you can get a Panthers hat or other pro teams along with the Charlotte hat.
