New Transfer Rule

Those schools do sometimes turn their backs on the athletes, though, by firing the coach that they came to play for. Everyone says that the student-athletes have to sign with a SCHOOL and not a coach, but if that were truly the case then they could just have the Athletic Directors go out and recruit. Obviously the school is only one factor in why a kid signs, and the coach is probably the overriding factor. If I redshirted as a freshman and had to go through a coaching change with negative results, I’d definitely bust my tail to graduate early and use this rule.

The first athlete uses the rule. ASU’s leading scorer from last season will play his last year under his father at UNLV.
You can’t blame him. I wouldn’t want to play for Herb either.

Herb has gotten some pretty decent commits over his short tenure including Harden this past weekend.
The only setback to this rule for me seems like a kid shouldn’t turn his back on a small school that gave him a chance, kind of like forgetting where you came from.
You remind me of Delonte.
